Spiderweb Breads Part 2
My spiderweb has improved! I scored the lines out from the center and did not let them cross– having that intersection at the top is what was causing my loaves to peak. This seems obvious in retrospect but I wasn’t born knowing how to put spiderwebs on breads. ๐ ๐ธ

This is a poppy seed & orange zest loaf. I laminated the zest (which is a funny thing to say) to see what would happen and what happens is the oil from the peel causes little pockets that I don’t like. The crumb overall is a little tight which is annoying because it looked like it had bulked enough.
Idk man I guess I’ll just have to make more breads until I get it ๐ It’s still dangerously edible, of course.
